In the bustling heart of Rooty Hill, the Civil works for the Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre herald a cultural renaissance, promising a world-class venue for artistic expression and community enrichment.

Project Overview

Here at Aitken Civil, we spearheaded the groundbreaking Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre project, showcasing our unrivaled expertise and unwavering commitment throughout its evolution. From external demolition to intricate asbestos removal and remediation, our team meticulously handled every aspect. Our skilled workforce undertook bulk and detail earthworks, crafting pad footings, lift, sand, and stair pits with precision, even delicately cutting exposed sandstone walls. Implementing innovative techniques such as bored concrete piles, FRP capping beams, and tensioned ground anchors, we ensured structural integrity and longevity. We fortified the foundation further with expertly applied shotcrete, while our retaining walls and backfilling seamlessly integrated the Centre into its surroundings. Our meticulous installation of stormwater drainage systems, concrete pavements, and asphalt pavements underscored our commitment to both functionality and aesthetics. Every detail, from the construction of kerbs to dish drains and grated drains, was executed with the utmost care, creating a seamless and safe environment for patrons and performers alike. Through our dedication and expertise, we are proud to have played an instrumental role in bringing the Western Sydney Performing Arts Centre to life, leaving an indelible mark on the cultural landscape of the region.
